Pahalgam called as “Valley of Shepherds”. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also and is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. It is a popular tourist destination. This world-famous hill station is located on the banks of river Lidder at an altitude of 7200 ft. from sea level. It was a tourist attraction and a favorite place for shooting of Bollywood films and is still a health resort. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine. Hajan, on the way to Chandanwari, is an idyllic spot for a picnic. Filmgoers will recognize it instantly as it has been the location of several movie scenes. Pahalgam has within it no fewer than eight tiny villages, one of which is Mamal. There is a Shiva temple here, generally considered to be Kashmir's oldest existing temple, dating to the 5th century. Chandanwari(2,895 m), 16 km from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the yatra that takes place every year in the month of Sawan(July to August). About 11 km from Chandanwari is the mountain lake of Sheshnag(3,574 m), after which, 13 km away is the last stop, Panchtarni. The Amarnath cave is 6 km away from there. During the month of Sawan, an ice stalagmite forms a natural Shiv ling in the Amarnath cave, which waxes and wanes with the moon.
Gulmarg called as “Meadow of Flowers”. Gulmarg is 53 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. Gulmarg also referred to as “Switzerland of India” is a famous Ski Resort and the world’s highest 18-hole Golf Course. The importance of Gulmarg was during the British period, who used to holiday here. The place was prominent during the British time. Gulmarg's legendary beauty, prime location and proximity to Srinagar naturally make it one of the premier hill resorts in the country. Originally called ‘Gaurimarg’ by shepherds, its present name was given in the 16th century by Sultan Yusuf Shah, who was inspired by the sight of its grassy slopes emblazoned with wild flowers. Gulmarg was a favorite haunt of Emperor Jehangir who once collected 21 different varieties of flowers from here. Today Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty- it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an altitude of 2,650 m, and is the country's premier ski resort in the winter.
Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the Srinagar Airport and transfer you to Hotel / HB. After check-in, you will visit the Mughal gardens with terraced lawns, cascading fountains, paint-box-bright flowerbeds with the panorama of the Dal in front of them - the three Mughal Gardens of Chesmashahi, Nishat and Shalimar are the Mughal Emperors' concept of paradise and are today very popular places.

After Breakfast leave for a full day trip to Pahalgam. Enjoy the nature & walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes also & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Full day Leisure guests can Hire Direct Basis Car for a trip to Aru, Chandanwari and Betaab valley at Pahalgam. Around Pahalgam are many places of interest, and because the resort is set between fairly steep hills, it is worth hiring a pony rather than walking. Pony fares are posted at prominent locations.
