Overview

Gangtok is such an alluring destination that attracts tourists from different parts of the world and not just India. One of the prime tourist sites called Gonjang Monastery is situated almost 6KM away from the heart of Gangtok town very close to the Tashi Viewpoint. Bakthang Falls is a wide and natural fall. However, the height of this stunning water is not really high but the flow of the water and width lure tourists to stop by and admire the surreal view of the fall.

Tsomgo Lake is also famously known as ‘Tsongmo Lake’ or ‘Changu Lake’. It is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district and attracts many tourists every year. As it is ethereally beautiful not even local resist on visiting it every now and then. The route to Baba Mandir is certainly picturesque that lets tourists admire even the journey to this ancient temple. Not only this but Orchid House Flower Show and Ropeway, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology are some of the stunning tourist sites that can’t be missed.
